Minnows Make Triple-Signing to Boost Squad
Team Minnows have confirmed the triple signings of striker Lin YongJie, midfielder Tan Teck Leng and defender Eddy Eboue on the final day of the transfer window.

Outgoing Team Minnows Manager Charlie Chan have told the club’s website, “We’ve brought on three great additions despite our extreme low wages, and I’ve completed my last tasks as the Manager of Minnows. I’m very happy.”
“I’m grateful for all the hard work going on behind the scenes such as the hanging of soft-toy animals’ heads and spraying of paint on the doors of these players’ homes before they finally agreed to our terms.”
When asked about his personal misconduct that led to his departure as Manager, rumoured to be the heels and stockings he brought to his player to change, rumoured to be Hong Liang, he said, “Chin Chye (anything goes/no comments). I look forward to leading the team on the field and I’ll be happy to wear heels and stockings on the pitch to boost their morale and scare the opposing team”. Team Minnows have made Charlie Chan the new captain since this rumoured stunt is deemed to be a misconduct as a Manager but is a great on-field tool to boost the team’s spirits.
The Club revealed that Lin YongJie was signed from Guangdong Province (50.07 RMB), scouted at a Sichuan restaurant; Eddy Eboue from Ivory Coast (3,990.62 CFA Franc), found drunk at Orchard Towers; and Tan Teck Leng is from the Local Talent Minnows Scheme (free/worthless) – scouted while playing basketball with kids at a local community centre. The trio have agreed to a life-time contract and are committed to helping the team achieve fluid football.
