I know it bounced in and there was no player to intercept it but any footballer will know it is not easy to keep it on target from that distance.

Victory at last finally saw transfer funds pouring in for Minnows. Having been on loan for much of the Minnow’s campaign, the man who is known for his crunching tackles and ‘braveheart’ mentality has finally earned his spot in the team.
Manager Kenny Wenger has this to say: ” I am very very happy. In the past, we were facing some crisis regarding performances and money. Now, when I was informed that we had enough to secure Gal, I immediately pressed for it. He will be a great asset for us. Very good defender, hardworking and a team player. I am delighted to have secured his services. We will avoid relegation.”

He will be spotting the no.3 jersey and will most probably make his debut as a full-time player in the centre back position in place of h^L and Robin. He can also take up the full back position.

Stand in manager Kenny Wenger attended yesterday’s emergency press conference to address several issues that have been plaguing Minnows in recent times.
Q: First off, Wenger, lets get straight to the point and ask you how do you feel about Minnow’s recent performances?
A: Shape good today. I am very happy that the team has performed so well. When I was at the pitch we were leading 2-0, I am so proud to have led 2-0. In control much of the game but once again set pieces keep catching us off guard.
Q: What is the latest report on Kelvin?
A: He was brave. Everyone should look at him as a prime example to what a team member should be. I was hoping only for superficial injuries unfortunately the docs have confirmed a broken nose. He will be having his operation in 5 days’ time. It is a good thing this coming weekend is for international fixtures so none of my team members will be playing. Also, I would like to point out what a superb goal that was from Kelvin. From such a narrow angle, blasting into the top corner. Fantastic.
Q: How about your injuries? What happened to your eye?
A: No comments.
Q: On loan defender Galvyn, what are your thoughts?
A: Rugged, effective and he brings a good spirit to the team. We will consider a transfer soon once funds are available, this will be determined by our Champions League performance this coming Vesak Day.
Q: Goalkeeper crisis?
A: We will be getting hold of Yeowtong to fill in the gap.
Q: Is Minnows going to always be drawing and losing matches only?
A: The most important thing is to learn from every mistake you make. Its only a matter of time before we start getting things right again. Yesterday’s match showed obviously what we are capable of. A sign to worry? Of course not.
Q: Thank you Wenger, for your time.
A: KUu KuuuUU…

I reckon everyone enjoyed themselves last Sunday. Much better than Telok where there were so many opponents, making waiting time like queuing for Donuts at Raffles City. There’s this sense of ease I find so important when playing soccer. You can’t get too fired up and emotional, hard up or angered, if you want to play beautiful soccer. Personally, last Sunday, I felt that ease and its been a while since such a feeling ever came across. I hope you will find yours too. So the decisions is such, at least 3 field games every month. After which we would compliment the odd weekend with court soccer, I guess at my place again.

there is just something sexy about this photo!
The flawless composition of the photo. The way Monica Bellucci looks at the bald head of 2006 player of the year winner, MEL. The way her cleavage is subtlety presented and of course the charming smile of MEL because he __________________________________
