Seasons Overview

Since the founding of the team in 2007, a Team Minnows’ season is a year long affair from August till July the following year. Matches are played on every weekend as long as there is no disruption to the majority of the squad and the availability of opposing teams and venues.

Until July 2011, a Team Minnows’ season is defined by the length of the amateur league (approximately 6-8 months) they have started to compete in – the D2D Sun AM League.

Every Team Minnows season will end with a Celebration Event attended by all Core players, WAGs, and Guest players – to thank everyone for their contribution and an opportunity to get together to have some fun and relaxation. During this party, the Award Giving Ceremony is also part of the tradition to recognise the efforts of outstanding individuals – both serious and humour.

Updates will be done annually after the end of a season. Right now, Team Minnows are battling in their 6th Season, in the D2D Sun AM League – Division 2, Season 7 (from 2012 Mar).
